This policy explains what personal information Yorkshire Traders LLC collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

What this website collects
This website has no contact form, no account system, no shopping cart and no analytics or advertising trackers. It is a set of static pages. Simply reading it does not create a record we hold about you.
Two technical exceptions apply, and we want to be straight about them:
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser information to deliver pages and to protect the site from attack, and keeps short-lived security logs. We do not receive a report identifying you.
- Fonts. Page typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address. We receive nothing from that request.
What we collect when you contact us
If you email us we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, email address, company name, delivery address and the details of your enquiry.
If you place an order we also hold the invoice, the shipping address, order history and the bank reference shown on the payment. We never see or store full card numbers — we do not take card payment.
Why we use it, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation — because you asked us to.
To perform a contract with you: processing the order, arranging delivery, handling returns and support.
To comply with law, including tax, accounting and export record-keeping obligations.
For our legitimate interest in keeping records of business correspondence and preventing fraud.
We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it. Ever.
Who we share it with
- Suppliers and manufacturers, where the goods ship directly to you — they receive the delivery name and address only.
- Carriers, who need the delivery address and a contact detail to deliver and to notify you.
- Our email provider. Mail to our address is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing and delivered to a Google-operated mailbox.
- Our bank and accountants, for payment processing and statutory accounts.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
Some of these are outside your country. Where information leaves the jurisdiction it was collected in, we rely on the provider's standard contractual protections.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders: deleted within 24 months.
Order and invoice records: seven years, as US tax and accounting rules require.
You can ask us to delete correspondence sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@yorkshiretradersllc.store and we will respond within 30 days.
We do not charge for this. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we release information.
If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California you may request disclosure of the categories of information we hold and ask us not to sell it — we do not sell it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our mailbox and order records is limited to the company's management and protected by two-factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
Children
Our goods are sold to adults and to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
